We just finished the first week of the Nothing & Everything Tour and I’m shocked at all of the new faces that have never seen us play before.

 

This is the first time bringing our own lights and sound out for a tour. I’m amazed at how great everything sounds and looks, and I’m pretty hard to please. We have pulled out all of the bells, whistles, and some special surprises for this night, so if you get a chance to see the show, you will not be disappointed.

 

The second day of tour, we got an invite to play a game called WhirlyBall. Now, when I first heard the name I wasn’t sure if it would be much fun. Boy was I wrong. The game consists of ten bumper cars that toss a ball between players and shoot at a goal that looks like a basketball goal, using lacrosse like paddles. I know this sounds weird, but this game is serious in Dallas and a few other cities. They even have several major competitions! So of course, Team RED caught onto the game quickly and kicked butt. The game was about more than just competition though; it was about the fun of smashing into each other with bumper cars.

 

Every night of the tour has been a new and exciting experience and we are grateful as a band to be able to share it with you. I am looking forward to seeing more new faces on this tour.
