This song is awesome! I've been down and out for a while, wondering who I am and what I'm supposed to be. This song helped me with that situation. I also have a friend who is going through some rough times and I was able to draw inspiration from "Not Alone" and am currently helping her through.
Last summer this song pulled me through a difficult situation. I was deployed to Afghanistan and each day I rode in an uparmored vehicle from one location to the next. During those transitions when not on watch, I was allowed to listen to my IPOD. When "Not Alone" was added to my playlist, I listened to it when I left the compound each day. I was comforted that Jesus was traveling with me during the trips outside the wire. This year I am bringing my family to Soulfest 2012 in NH. I cannot wait to see Red there (my fourth time seeing them live) and actually hear the song in person. To this day, the song invokes strong memories in me - my wife is actually preparing to sing it in our church in the coming weeks. Thank you Red for making such a phenomonal tune.
Yes I have shared NOT ALONE with others. My mom Loves the song, its a very meaningful song it helps when you feel alone because in the Word Jesus says "I am with You" and dose it say in the song
